Welcome friends, my name is Joel Smith.
I am here to share with you my journey to take my body to the peak of it's potential. I began going to the gym in November of 2010. I didn't know what I was doing, made little progress. I didn't give up but kept going, believe me I had a LONG way to go. I did my research. Learned much from various sources. I started making better progress and it was like I was on a roll.
Shortly thereafter I received a hernia injury in November of 2011. This sidelined me from any serious lifting for some time. I had surgery in February of 2012. A month later I was hitting hard and going all out. I joined a contest in april to lose weight and by god I did. Here are the results after 94 days:
I know what I am doing, I know what I need to do to get there and would like to help others along the way. I plan to use this blog to log my progress, review products, and write some articles about fitness and nutrition.
